In Costa Rica, we celebrate this date on June 15th.

Let's open the earth, let's plant the tree,

one day we will come looking for your coat

and flowers and fruits and shade will give.

The benign sky watering your plant,

the sowing sun give it its warmth,

the earth will give its juice to its roots

and let your leaves be green and cool.

Let's plant the tree, the friendly tree;

its leafy branches here will spread

, and one day we will come looking for her flowers, its shade and its fruits.

Drink water. Stand up straight. Remember your roots. Enjoy the view.
