DID YOU KNOW SURFERS ARE OFTEN FIRST RESPONDERS IN THE OCEAN?
From sunrise to sunset, surfers are in the water every single day. That constant presence means they are often the first to notice when someone is in trouble — and the first to reach them. Around the world, surfers save countless lives each year simply because they are there, ready to act.
But being there isn’t enough.
Knowing how to save someone safely, without putting yourself at risk, is essential. That’s why we run our Surf Rescue Courses — to make sure every surfer, swimmer, and ocean lover has the skills to respond in an emergency and keep surf sessions safer everywhere.
