NIPPERS IS BACK — DATES ANNOUNCED!
We’re thrilled to announce the 2026 Nippers season early so you can block off time and get ready for fun in the sun with us! This year we’ll host four special events for kids, packed with beach safety, ocean skills, games, and joy. Our aim? To equip young ones for safer holidays and confident beach days.
Why join Nippers?
At Santa Teresa Lifeguards, our Nippers program builds on the core goals of our Junior Lifeguards / Nipper Program: ocean and water safety, rescue awareness, surf and rip current understanding, leadership, and teamwork.
Kids will learn:
Water safety skills — recognizing hazards, safe entry/exit, avoiding risk zones
Rescue techniques & first aid basics
Surf awareness & ocean conditions — currents, tides, waves
Teamwork, leadership & confidence It’s more than just a beach day — it's a chance to inspire kids to care for themselves, others, and the ocean.

Event 4 (Season Finale): 21. March 8am
what to bring?
Water, reef-safe sunscreen, hat or rashguard, snack, towel, good vibes. We’ll take care of the rest.

Donation & registration
We ask for a $20 donation per child per event — this supports our volunteer lifeguard program so our guards are equipped and ready to protect everyone on the beach.
