We’d like to share an important update regarding the Santa Teresa Lifeguard Academy.

Our upcoming Academy session is being postponed to a later date in 2026. This is not a cancellation — the program will still take place, and we’ll be announcing the new dates soon.

The reason for this change is an exciting one: members of our team will be traveling to California to continue their professional development and participate in additional lifesaving training. We believe that investing in education, new techniques, and international exchange helps us return stronger and better prepared to serve our community.

The Academy has always been about more than certifications — it’s about building skilled, confident lifeguards ready for real ocean conditions. By taking this opportunity to train abroad, we’ll be able to bring back even more knowledge and experience for future participants.

We truly appreciate everyone who has shown interest, support, and enthusiasm for the Academy. Your patience means a lot to us.
