That’s why we’re proud to announce the 2026 Santa Teresa Lifeguard Academy, happening May 4–10, 2026, right here on our home beach. This week-long training combines five days of international-standard lifeguard education with two days of real tower experience — side by side with our volunteer team protecting one of Costa Rica’s busiest beaches.

The academy isn’t just a course. It’s a chance to connect with the ocean, challenge yourself, and become part of a global movement that saves lives. You’ll learn vital ocean rescue techniques, improve your physical skills, and gain the confidence to respond when it matters most.

Whether you’re dreaming of becoming a certified lifeguard or already have experience and want to push your limits, this program will leave you stronger, more aware, and deeply connected to our ocean community.
