The Rocamar Magic Hat Classic is back! Join us for a full day celebrating our community, the ocean, and surf culture—raising funds to support our volunteer lifeguard lifesaving services. We cannot wait to see everyone again and make this year the best one yet.

‘The Rocamar Magic Hat Classic began as a simple idea, an anti-contest surf contest where everyone surfs in costume, rides a board they’ve never ridden, and puts fun first. Nothing is taken too seriously. With the Santa Teresa Lifeguards on board, it’s grown into one of the most anticipated events of the year, a chance for locals to come together, laugh a lot, and embrace a little ridiculousness.’ Rocamar

Business Owners & Raffle Donations

If you are a business owner and would like to participate by donating a raffle prize, we would love to hear from you.
Please send us a message by February 13, so we can include your contribution in our promotional materials for contest day.

Raffle Tickets

• Online sales: Available until February 20
• In-person sales: Available all day on February 21 at Rocamar

To claim a prize, you must be present.
Raffle draw times will be announced ahead of the event and posted on-site.

• Entry donation: $50
• Includes one piece of official event merch
• Costumes required for all contestants but encouraged for all
• Soft-top boards will be provided
• An Expression Session will also be held, where surfers may use their own boards
